Fernworthy Forest

The seedlings on the newly exposed mud by the reservoir were quick off the mark. I was quite pleased with the sunlit lichen and oak. The new streambed by the reservoir and the hazel made it a reasonable day photo-wise. And then I saw the buzzard and the stags! The buzzard was content to stare at me for a while – which is pretty unusual. Then a 14 point stag (Imperial) stared at me too. There seems to be a group of four stags – two big ones and two smaller ones – getting on amicably for now.
