A tawny owl stared at me at eye-level 15 feet away from a hole in a tree (different tree, different owl?). Absolute classic ‘owl staring out of a hole in a tree’ moment. It climbed out towards me and flew into the tree – by which time I’d recovered enough to point the camera. Other than that – it was the usual ‘why are there so many snail shells?’, the other side of the fox skull and a crocodile. … and I found L & H.
