I can’t think of a good reason to explain (a) why the field has half a cow in it (b) why, in spite of walking that way every day, I haven’t noticed it until this morning. In other news, I quite like the grass triangles that the soldier beetle is walking through and I saw three greater spotted woodpeckers this morning (and, pretty much, failed to take photos of any of them).
