Blowing a gale, torrential rain and even though there were moments of bright sunlight I can’t work out why there was so much more to see today than yesterday. All very odd. Today’s highlights – the woodpecker, baby reed bunting, spider and the kestrel. I got very close to a damselfly and saw my first (battered) painted lady.
