A misty tramp through tall very wet grass. I’ll spare you the many blurred photos of a family of bluetits who I pursued along three hedges. I’m not sure why I’ve only just noticed the apples – too busy chasing butterflies, presumably. A huge toadstool growing halfway up a tree was today’s novelty.
