Fernworthy

The hanging dead leaf looks a bit fossil fish-like (with apologies to Janet Moore). The peacock butterfly is extracting the last nectar from the only buddleia on the path round the reservoir which South West Lakes have just ripped up to make the path wider. So – this one of the very few peacock butterflies I’ve seen this year and its food has just been destroyed so that people can see the wildlife more easily.
