Fernworthy Forest – Teignhead Farm

Wet! I probably spent half of my time demisting the lens and the other half taking blurry photos through a misty lens. The advantage of going to Teignhead Farm on a blowy, rainy day is that you have it completely to yourself and can wander round the walls, under mossy beech trees and cross the clapper bridges in idyllic (albeit damp) isolation. A day for water droplets, red deer (four of them) and moss (and a few toadstools, strangely). One of the deer looked like it had recovered from a pretty serious wound. The wren would have been very photogenic on a less torrential day. And, as I’m being picky, it would have been better if the marsh(?) tit had deigned to look at me.
