Fernworthy (and a sparrowhawk on the way home)
Even I was wondering why I was bothering to take the camera round Fernworthy this morning. It was dark, pouring with rain (with hail promised) (and I’d been there yesterday with much better light) (and I was worried about the battery falling out / water getting in because the replacement battery cover hasn’t arrived yet). …and then a sparrowhawk took a blackbird in mid-air, right in front of the windscreen. …and then glowered at me while I took photos.
