Fernworthy Forest
There are still lots of blushers and fly agarics but the honey mushrooms, bonnets and sulphur tufts are beginning to take over. The big misshapen thing might be a rooting bolete. Other more delicate treats are the orange peel fungus, porcelain mushrooms and a pestle puffball. The buzzard and kestrel were in their usual spots and demanding some attention. The thin-walled maze polypore looked unusually dramatic – it’s obviously having a moment.
