Sunrise at Scorhill and a robin watched me sitting in the boot of the car taking off my wellies

The weather was so good it would have been rude not to go out again. Another robin – this one a little less polished and more disheveled but belted out his songs anyway. I’d forgotten that Milfordleigh wood existed. Walking across the stepping stones was fun in a ‘walking across a weir’ way. Today was a leaves day (and a weird jelly fungus).
