Chagford – Deer Park – Fingle Bridge (Monday)
A sunny, still spring morning. A pied flycatcher, flies, a mirid bug (Heterocordylus tibialis) and a mysterious orange striped beetle/bug in the cuckoo flower, damselflies, a dock bug, buttercups, cobwebs, dandelions in various stages of deployment, red campion and, to round things off, a pair of mandarin ducks.
