Chagford – Deer Park
Too dark for photos really, but a young fox sat and watched me from further up on the hill. I should have done my usual ‘ten steps closer, photo, ten steps closer, photo…’ but he/she looked too content to disturb. Someone has recently swept the stump – as they do periodically – I wonder if it’s the same person (I imagine someone raging with puritanical zeal). Anyway, it’s being added to again (I imagine young children).
