Round Fernworthy Forest – Teignhead Farm
Driving wind and rain on the moor with trees swaying about in the gusts. I can’t help thinking that it’s probably not a good sign to see Venus de Milo in a tree stump. Apart from her, I seem to have focussed on holes in things – the holes in the gate post are quite odd. They’ve clear-felled a section of the forest near the Teignhead Farm gate – the felled trees are over 50 years old. I might make it a little project to follow how it recovers/develops.
