Fernworthy Forest
Fly agarics and the violet webcaps (?) are nestled quite close together near a small beech sapling every year. It’s reassuring to see them – if poisonous toadstools can reassure. I recently went to a wonderful Rosie Sanders Spirit of Place exhibition – I may be taking lots of photos of woods as a consequence. Obviously it won’t completely tear me away from boletes, raspberry jam slime mould or lizards.
