Scorhill – Hound Tor – Wild Tor – Watern Tor – Teignhead Farm – Manga Farm – Manga Rock – Manga Crossing – Shovel Down
The sky was black but it stayed dry – I came off the top at one point because it looked as though a storm was imminent. Two cuckoos in one photo! They knew I was there an kept their distance coming to and from Teignhead Farm. I don’t know what the strange regular heaps of stone are near Manga Farm – mining? Wheatears, skylarks, meadow pipits (also enjoying the cuckoo singing), a ground beetle (Carabus nemoralis) and Kestor looking spectacular.
