Murchington – Milfordleigh Woods:
Leaves, buds, unfurling ferns and flowers – but also orchids, spiders, a trout(?) and an extraordinary lichen. The birds were all singing out of reach up in the canopy and I managed to cross the stepping stones without falling in this time.
