Chagford – Whiddon Wood – Fingle Bridge
The eggs on the hawksbeard are a surprise – I didn’t notice them at the time. Ragged Robin, Agrion damselflies, a shield bug, blue lacewing and cow wheat. The deer was in full flight and I was swinging the camera round – it’s amazingly clear. (Obviously, as I was once a keen seven year old cribbage player, I’ve pegged two for his heels.)
