Fernworthy – Teignhead Farm – North Teign – Shovel Down – Fernworthy
All a bit windy and I briefly got soaked in a shower. All the insects were keeping their heads down except for the dragonfly (female common darter?) so photos are a bit sparse. I went to the Shovel Down tin hut looking for a spot I could sit down out of the wind and disturbed four red deer. I’d not seen them out on the moor before, judging by their expression they weren’t at all pleased to be discovered.
