Beautiful sunshine when I got in the car had turned to thick fog on the moor (about 20 steps visibility). It’s funny how getting lost always makes me think my compass is broken. However, having been lost many times, I trusted it anyway. As usual, it wasn’t broken. Not much to see except the lichen I was stepping over and the occasional welcome boundary stone. Good fun, though, in a “stepping out into the murk on various compass bearings from Sharp Tor and back again” kind of way!
