A lot of staring at trees trying to find songbirds this morning. Warblers (willow warbler, chiff chaff?), blackcap, nuthatch, redstart, swallows, grebes, siskins, longtailed tits and a common sandpiper. …and flies, buds, a spider, flowers and a very dead (and curtailed) common lizard. The blackcap was, as you can see, right in front of me and very happy to pose for ages.
