Fernworthy Forest
I’ve been meaning to explore the forest paths for ages. A wet day seemed a good time to do it. The reward was coming across several red deer. A young stag and a 15 point stag – an ‘Imperial Stag’ according to the internet. He didn’t seem very threatened by me! ….and a sheepskull impaled on a stick (slightly weird), an orange antler-like toadstool and unseasonal foxgloves (which is, surely, a bit worrying).
