Lots of buds, new leaves and flowers… …until I slipped off the stepping stones and gave my camera a dip for good measure. Luckily, as it turned out, it was OK – not that I knew that as I squelched home.
Every time I see that gatepost below the trees, I think it’s a perching buzzard.
