Charging off into the clouds with my eldest sister. Finally found Statt’s House. Stone chats, meadow pipit and an obedient golden plover. The ‘sheepfold’ was surely designed for something grander. It felt like a roman villa. We both fell over in the marsh as we crossed up to Hartland Tor.
