Padley Common / Fernworthy / and a good sunset when I got home:
A frosty morning wander round the common at the bottom of the hill – in and amongst the scrubby woodland, which I don’t normally do – and with my camera, which I don’t normally bother with on the common.
…and then, on a beautifully sunny, still evening I felt like going up to Fernworthy. I wish I’d filmed the heron flying slowly over the reservoir – majestic. There was a birder with a much bigger camera who had been taking photos of linnets, crossbills and siskins I didn’t even see them – perhaps another day.
