Round the edge of Fernworthy Forest
Lichens, mosses and more lichens! I cut up through the forest and then skirted round it on the moor. The wall was covered in an extraordinary number of different lichens. I got almost as far as Grey Wethers and then cut back in, following a stream down to Sandeman’s bridge. I’m not quite sure why the caterpillar was out and about – not a desperately good idea, I’d have thought.
