Fernworthy Forest

Changing birch leaves against the sun are irresistible – holding their own against the yellow stagshorn and assorted toadstools. I’m amazed the kestrel is so clear – a long way away – but the kestrel was still (watching me carefully!) and it was very bright. The mating devil’s coach horses were very focused – she was being dragged along which can’t have been altogether comfortable.
