Fernworthy
An extended 24″ Fernworthy which took in a bit of forest, a bit of marsh, a bit of moor etc.
Beasts with two backs, a magnificent orange headed hoverfly, a funnel spider, swollen-thighed flower beetle, dragonflies (I think they’re a female keeled skimmer, a male black tailed skimmer and a golden ringed dragonfly eating a wasp), various butterflies (including my first tortoiseshell of the year which feels worrying somehow). Lots of flies looking particularly sharp. Good colour combinations today, I thought – everything seemed in tune.
