Meldon Reservoir – Black Tor – Fordsland Ledge – Black-a-Tor Copse – Fordsland Ledge (again) – Dinger Tor – Lints Tor – Black-a-Tor Copse:
It was all a bit too claggy on top so I retreated to Black-a-Tor Copse and, with extra time on my hands, walked the length of it from above. At which point, I was just below Fordsland Ledge again and it had brightened up so I carried on from where I’d left off, as it were. Views from Dinger Tor were stunning and Lints Tor is a gem. Lots of lichens, branches, twigs, toadstools on fence-posts. Black-a-Tor Copse was even more Hobbits-like than normal.
