Scorhill – Shovel Down – Manga Rock – Manga Farm – North Teign
Damselflies, caddis fly larvae, pond skaters, whirligig beetle, blurry newts (I could have scooped them out but didn’t want to) and possibly a treble-bar geometer moth. The foraging pipits and baby stone chats were remarkably cooperative. I’m not at all good at naming plants but I might have seen (!) amphibious bistort, ivy-leaved crowfoot, marsh violet and common milkwort – feel free to correct me!
