Soldier beetles enthusiastically steal the show. The deer was magnificent too – and waited for me to take a second photo, which is just as well because the first one was out of focus.
Acorns, cucumber green spider, sow-thistle aphid. Seek confidently identifies the wasp at the end as a tree wasp but I can’t see how.
