Fernworthy Forest
In the middle of the forest in steady rain – so, most of these were taken with the flash. They’ve come out surprisingly well. The big brown chunky toadstools were much more ghoul-like beneath the pine branches before the flash illuminated them. The dung beetles have begun their autumnal march and there are lots of upside-down dead corpses around at the moment. This one, however, was still going!
