Chagford – Fingle Bridge:

Snowy fields and bare trees – all very Brueghel the younger. It would be fair to say that the crow behind the buzzard wasn’t overjoyed that he was having to share his tree. Sleety rain isn’t ideal weather for capturing fawns in full flight but I had a go! All a bit dark. A year ago today I was taking photos of frogspawn and bilberry flowers and everything looked a bit brighter (oddly, there was a white fawn then too).
