Fernworthy Forest
The roe deer was where he always is, spectacularly unconcerned by me, the dog, and an extended photoshoot. A robber fly, redstart, red campion, an unusually clear grasshopper, and two sheep who looked as though they were about to show me how they got through the fence – but didn’t. Perhaps they’ve got fatter.
