Scorhill – Wild Tor – Watern Tor – Teignhead Farm – Shovel Down
A reasonable amount of snow on the top was good fun. I had originally planned to go along the ridge to Hangingstone Hill and Whitehorse Hill as usual but not being able to see the boggy bits below the snow seemed like a bad idea so I cut across to Watern Tor. Weatherwise there was a bit of everything. I don’t know what the bubbles of gas released from the peat are – methane? trapped air?
