Rushford Mill – Fingle Bridge
Unfurling leaves, ferns, more ferns and bilberry flowers. And wood ants – I’m not sure what was going on with the wood ants but there were great big clumps of wood ants where I’d have expected to find a nest. They didn’t look happy (do ants ever look happy?). When I was young(er) my brother had a Richard Scarry book where you had to find Goldbug. There’s a hidden ant on one of these photos and she reminded me of Goldbug.
