Fernworthy Forest

All a bit breezy for much to poke it’s head up. The chunky dragonflies (golden-ringed and southern hawker) were still cruising around. The other one’s a black darter. Lots of things were gamely clinging on to grass-stems. The toadstools and mushrooms are beginning to stir. Whisper it, but it’s beginning to feel a little autumnal.
