Fernworthy:
Knapweed (I love the black mite-like patterns on the seed head), birdsfoot trefoil, cats ear (false dandelions), scabious, rosebay willowherb, flies, butterflies (gatekeeper, small tortoiseshell, peacock, battered red admiral, small copper), hoverflies, bees, sexton beetle (covered in mites), spider, grasshoppers. There’s a grim fascination with watching it get lower and lower – but no bridge yet.
