Deer Park – Whiddon Woods – Fingle Bridge – Hunter’s Path
Stitchwort, violets, oil beetles, wood sorrel, wood anemones, unfurling bracken and lichen. Lots of birds singing but they kept out of reach. I’m sure I saw a speckled wood butterfly but, again, it kept its distance. And the granite swallowing tree – immensely slow rock-paper-scissors.
