I’m slightly obsessed with the variability of neighbouring fenceposts. A misspent youth thinking about “Robert MacArthur (1967) The theory of island biogeography” is probably to blame.

… and for those of you not interested in fenceposts… Lichens, more lichens, a goldcrest, a dunnock, a holly trunk, the Cerne Abbas giant on the move and lots of ice and reflections. The ice makes one of the reflections surprisingly hard to interpret.
